Mark Caron
Mark is the founder of MobileSpring Wireless (www.mobilespring.com), a New York-based wireless software developer funded by i-Hatch.  Mark is one of the founders of Omnipoint Communications and has over 15 years experience in telecommunications and information technology. Mark led the business development and marketing areas from Omnipoint's pre-venture capital start-up stage, through its $1Bn IPO, to its recent sale to VoiceStream Wireless for over $6Bn as part of a national roll-up of regional PCS companies. In his most recent business development role, Mark concluded over $300MM worth of acquisitions and joint ventures and led Omnipoint Communications' efforts in selling the parent company. Earlier marketing responsibilities included creating the original marketing plan, building the 30-person marketing and product management department, and launching Omnipoint in the New York market. Prior to Omnipoint, Mark consulted to PictureTel Corporation, assisting them with their operations, marketing and technology strategy. In 1989, he entered the wireless industry working as a Product Manager at Ericsson Mobile Communications. Mark started his career at General Electric working in information systems and telecommunications. He has an MBA from Harvard and a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Dartmouth College.

Jacob Davidson
Jacob is the founder of NomadIQ, a location based application company recently acquired by Omnisky. Prior to NomadIQ Jacob was a Co-Founder and Chairman of Delta Three, the world's largest Internet telephony service provider and a subsidiary of RSL Communications (NASDAQ:RSLDF). Prior to founding Delta Three, Jacob managed a number of high-tech startups in Israel as a venture capitalist and as a management consultant. He has served as Chairman and CEO of Ambient Corporation, an Israeli smartcard technology company, and as Managing Director of Pioneer Management Corporation, a holding company. Prior to his work with technology companies, he practiced law with Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz, where he specialized in securities litigation. Jacob received his B.A. and B.S. degree from City College of New York and his law degree from Georgetown University.

Mike Dolan
Mike is Chief Executive Officer of Young & Rubicam Inc. and a member of its Board of Directors.

Before joining Young & Rubicam in 1996, Mike was President and Chief Executive Officer of Snack Ventures Europe, the join venture between PepsiCo Foods International and General Mills. He also served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations for PepsiCo Foods International.

Prior to PepsiCo, which he joined in 1991, Mike was with Peter Kiewet Sons, Inc., the construction and mining conglomerate from 1987 through 1991. He served as Corporate Executive Vice President for Continental Can Company when it was acquired and restructured by Peter Kiewet. Before joining Peter Kiewet Sons, Mike was a Partner in the Strategy Practice at Booz Allen & Hamilton from 1985 until 1987. He began his career with J.P. Morgan.

Tom Eisenmann
Tom is an Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurial Management/Service Management Unit at the Harvard Business School. He teaches “Managing Marketspace Businesses,” a course in Harvard's MBA elective curriculum on the strategic and organizational challenges facing Internet startups and established companies moving online. Prior to entering the doctoral program at the Harvard Business School, Tom spent eleven years at McKinsey & Company, during which time he served as co-head of McKinsey’s Media and Entertainment Practice from 1990 through 1994. Tom serves on the Board of Directors of OneMain.com, one of the ten largest U.S. Internet Service Providers (NASDAQ: ONEM) and is on the advisory boards of more than a dozen Internet startups. Tom holds a DBA (98), MBA (83), and BA (79) from Harvard University. He currently resides in Massachusetts with his wife and their two children.

Richard Emerson
As senior vice president, corporate development and strategy for Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Richard is responsible for leading Microsoft’s overall corporate development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. Emerson works closely with Microsoft’s product groups and corporate finance organization to identify, execute and manage strategic investments for long-term customer and shareholder value.  

Emerson also is a member of Microsoft’s Business Leadership Team. This group shares responsibility with Steve Ballmer, Microsoft’s president and CEO, for broad strategic and business planning for the entire company.  

Prior to joining Microsoft in November 2000, Emerson was managing director and co-head of technology and telecommunications advisory services at international investment bank Lazard Frères & Co. LLC. He spent 12 years in San Francisco and New York with Lazard and Morgan Stanley, specializing in advising clients in the technology and telecommunications sectors on mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships.  

Emerson holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Stanford University, and a master’s in business administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. In addition, he has a graduate-level technology background from Stanford in artificial intelligence and held summer positions at IBM’s T.J. Andy is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Insignia Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE:IFS), a leading international real estate services company. Insignia’s commercial real estate services subsidiary, Insignia/ESG, Inc., is among the largest companies in its field. Insignia provides services for more than 190 million square feet of office, industrial and residential properties in the U.S. and has operations in the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany. Prior to founding Insignia, he founded Metropolitan Asset Group, Ltd., a private real estate investment banking and merchant banking firm specialized in securitized real estate transactions, including syndication, corporate LBO’s and workouts. Michael H. Jordan

Michael retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation (formerly Westinghouse Electric Corporation) on December 31, 1998. He had served in that position since June 1993, leading one of the most comprehensive transformations of a major U.S. corporation. Before joining Westinghouse, Michael was a partner with Clayton, Dubilier and Rice, a private investment firm based in New York City.  Prior to that he spent 18 years with PepsiCo., his last position being Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo International.  From 1964 to 1974, he was a consultant and principal with McKinsey & Company, before which he served a four-year tour of duty with the U.S. Navy on the staff of Admiral Hyman Rickover.

Michael is a member of the President's Export Council, a member and former Chairman of the U.S.-Japan Business Council, Chairman of The College Fund/UNCF, and Chairman of the Policy Board of the Americans for the Arts. Prior to joining Fingerhut in May 1998, Mr. Lansing served as Vice President of Business Development for General Electric from October 1996 to May 1998. Prior to joining General Electric, Mr. Lansing served as Chief Operating Officer for Prodigy from January 1996 to October 1996, an on-line joint venture of IBM and Sears. Gary Lauder
Gary Lauder is the Managing Partner of Lauder Partners, a venture capital partnership investing in information technologies. Selected investments include Telebase, WebTV, CatchTV, CitySearch, About.com, Goto.com, SendMail, Educational Systems Corp., V-bits.  He is also Vice-Chairman and a director of ICTV Inc., a developer of interactive cable television systems. Other directorships include Hybrid Networks, a cable modem pioneer, Evolve Products and Broadband Innovations Inc. Gary is a limited partner in more than 30 venture funds, with investments primarily in cable television technology and on-line/web services arenas. Tom Melcher
Tom was formerly the Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at c|net (NASDAQ:CNET) where he has represented the company in high-profile Internet transactions with the likes of Snap, Xoom, NBCi, AOL, AT&T, Microsoft, Compaq, Sony, US Robotics and Inktomi, among others. Jerry Neumann
Jerry is a Managing Director of Seneca Investments, a partnership between Omnicom and Pegasus Capital.  Prior to Seneca Jerry was the Managing Director of Communicade, the interactive media investment arm of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC). Communicade currently has investments in more than 20 interactive media companies and has funded several of the market leaders involved in helping their clients build businesses in the digital economy, including AGENCY.COM, Organic, Razorfish and Red Sky. From 1995 - 1997, Jerry was a member of the senior management team of Prodigy.
